Vous présenter un coffre, une montre à gousset fermée dans un petit sac, un cadre photo représentant un vieil homme devant un clocher.

– Vous donnez un certain nombre de petit disques de papier aux spectateurs en leur demandant d’indiquer une heure de leur choix. Par exemple 14h23, ou 10h14, peut importe. Donc autant d’heures différentes que de spectateurs et autant de papiers que de spectateurs.

– Vous montrez un coffre vide et demandez aux spectateurs de mettre leur papiers à l’intérieur.

Expliquez que la montre de ce cow-boy s’est arrêtée à l’instant de sa mort.

– Maintenant faites tirer un papier au hasard et faites le lire à haute voix. Le spectateur annonce par exemple :11h14.

– Sortez la montre de son étui, et montrez l’heure indiquée par les aiguilles: elle indique: 11h14.

– Mais ce n’est pas tout. Retournez le cadre photo, le clocher indique l’heure : 11h14.

– Et pour les puristes, vous pouvez montrer les papiers dans le coffre à la fin, ils sont bien sûr tous différents.

Vous pouvez le faire autant de fois que vous voulez avec des heures différentes (reset de 2mn.)

-Vous pouvez donnez la montre dans son sac à un spectateur avant le tour. Vous ne la touchez plus jusqu’à la fin.

You present a chest, a pocket watch closed in a small bag, a photo frame representing a man from the 1930s in front of a clock.
– You give a certain number of small paper discs to the spectators and ask them to indicate a time of their choice. For example 2:23 p.m., or 10:14 a.m., it doesn’t matter. So as many different hours as there are spectators and as many papers as there are spectators.
– You show an empty chest and ask the spectators to put their papers inside.
Explain that this man’s watch stopped at the moment of his death.
– Now draw a paper at random and have them read it aloud. The spectator announces for example: 11:14 a.m.
– Take the watch out of its case, and show the time indicated by the hands: it indicates: 11:14 a.m.
– But that’s not all. Turn the photo frame over, the bell tower indicates the time: 11:14 a.m.
– And for the purists, you can show the papers in the chest at the end, they are of course all different.
You can do this as many times as you want with different times (2 minute reset.)
